Utah Military? →← Major break?

Like I said, I missed the first few seconds of the interview. But here’s most of the clip that ran on the NNT Morning News a few hours ago, as promised:

This is insane.

Insane.

Now I’m almost certain that something is going on. Jack Nash – who I’ve admired ever since he visited Berkeley to lecture about his work as an investigative journalist – filed a report last night from Salt Lake City, where more troops are preparing to go down and extend a barricade “at an unspecified location in southeastern Utah,” as part of a “routine training exercise.”

This is supposed to be a training exercise? I don’t know much about the National Guard, but I’ve never heard of anything like this – and from his reaction during the broadcast, I’m betting Nash hasn’t either. There’s no way this is just a routine exercise. I guess it’s good that Nash is looking into it, because he’ll have a lot more resources and access than I do. On the other hand, if it’s important enough to warrant Nash’s interest, it makes me even more scared that this is something huge.

It’s been over a week now. I’ve got to figure this out before I go insane.

  2. Actually if you look at an image of piedmont there is some water way that goes right by the town. if there was a spill of anything it is very likely it got into the water way.

  3. Might there possibly be an underground stream, along with wells in Piedmont? If so… The “spill” might have affected those. In that case, it’s probably blockaded for others’ good. But stay out. Don’t go in there, lest you may be killed. In the meantime, just search for any evidence of underground activity.

  8. I just caught the commercial this morning and it caught my attention. So I came to check out what it could be. I’m in total awe that the military is occupying Piedmont. This has sparked my interest and I’m gonna follow your news on this through. I’m gonna try to spread the word about and maybe new information on this will surface. I wonder though, if this goes on long enough will the military block this location from Google Earth?
